Abstract
The authors have simulated the sediment transports under different flow intensities. The flow field is simulated using large eddy simulation (LES), while the sediment particle motion is simulated using discrete particle method (DPM) and considering the complete set of instantaneous hydrodynamic forces. The authors are to be complimented for this innovative way of modelling the movement of sediment particles.
