Abstract
A combination of Fe<inf>2</inf>O<inf>3</inf> nanoparticles with Al<inf>2</inf>O<inf>3</inf> nanoparticles produced using low-combustion methods and activated sugar cane bagasse was used for the adsorption of fluoride from water, and the results were promising. In order to optimize pH, dose of mixed adsorbent, and contact duration, experiments were carried out on a small scale in the lab. When a hybrid adsorbent was used in conjunction with first order kinetic reaction, a regression analysis was carried out using GeoGebra, and the R<inf>2</inf> value was shown to be absolutely accurate. According to the findings of the study, a combination of Fe–Al nanoparticles and activated sugar cane bagasse is effective in adsorbing fluoride ions from water.
