Abstract
Wireless radio channel measurements per-formed in indoor environment at the frequency of 9.6GHz with bandwidth of 600MHz to estimate and model channel characteristics. Scattering parameters obtained using ex-perimental setup of vector network analyzer, low and high gain antennas. Using power profile data at various time samples, we have calculated the Probability Distribution Function (PDF) as a function of different distances between the two transmit and receive antennas. Different distribution functions were considered to best fit the measured random power profile data. From the best fit curves, we conclude that Weibull distribution functions best matches the data of indoor channel modelling.
